The 360 is up 91% weekly while the ps3 is down 3%. The only thing that's clear is that real gamers were paying attention to this year's E3 and have responded with their wallets. Everybody was talking about Gears 3 and Rage. Both games looked amazing and definitely a step forward in graphics. Nobody was talking about Killzone 3.
The 3D will always be a small market. Just like bluray which is still a small minority in the overall home entertainment business.
The game was bad ass. I loved the adult Stephen King style story. Definitely reached the hype. Unfortunately most single player only games get rented. Gamefly FTW!! I'll look into buying this in the near future when the DLC comes out with a price cut.

It doesn't take a genius to see which 2 companies have made a huge jump forward and what company made a huge step backwards.
Red Dead and Mass Effect 2 so far are the front runners for game of the year.
God of War 3 is the only one on there worth mentioning. The 360 has more than enough to keep me happy. No need to own both consoles this gen.

Amazing game. If you like Stephen King than this game is just for you. Absolutely amazing adult oriented horror game. Since it's just a single player game than a rental would suffice. I usually don't buy single player games unless they're huge like Dragon's Age. But with the price cut and the extra content coming out, I might pick it up eventually.

This is when you have crappy websites trying to get hits with controversial articles. Since the 360's Slim was the biggest news of E3, I expect these no name sites coming out left and right. We already have an unknown gaming blog site claim the new Slim is already breaking down.

It's no doubt that Gears 3 is raising the bar in gameplay and graphics. Both Gears 3 and Killzone 3 were released at this year's E3 and all the positive buzz came from Gears 3. Nobody was talking about Killzone 3. Killzone 3 looks to use the same blurry effect to cover the low texture count and the same dominant gray palette.
Gears 3 will once again curb stomp the competition upon release.
